can we just take some time to appreciate the fact that, yes, people are calling for a release of a director’s cut of the movie, but that’s because it was a legitimately good movie that everyone wants to see more of, and NOT because the movie flopped and we’re trying to convince people “no, it really is good, trust me!”

Black Panther is the most feminist film of the MCU. Jot that down.

#it’s simple math #there is more than one woman with 3+ lines #multiple women had to actually work to memorize their dialogue because they had to speak several entire sentences #it’s already beat all the other marvel movies on that count alone (via @itreallyatemyhand)

Plus there were multiple scenes where the women spoke with each other and the conversations weren’t throwaway or trivial they actually helped move the plot along.

And each woman in the movie got an entire character arc, none of which were about ‘getting the guy’

I’m finally watching Black Panther and it’s a three screen feature. I’m crying.

It’s called 270 degree viewing, for future reference. I just looked it up and Black Panther is only the second movie to be viewed this way. There are only 3 movie theaters outside of Asia that have this viewing experience. 1 theater is in Las Vegas and the other 2 are in California. This is so freaking surreal. I would have lost my mind had I been able to see this. Just wow….wow.
