One thing I find interesting about the whole “Buttonbeard” conversation and saying Fjord talks down to Nott is that people are forgetting that this is exactly how Vox Machina used to convince Grog to do things and Travis is using the same method they used on him

ARE YOUR POSTS NOT SHOWING UP? THIS SHOULD FIX IT:

so as this post says, if you’r finding your blog is all jumbled, old posts popping up to the front, new posts not showing up at all, etc it is because of those posts being flagged and then unflagged. all you have to do is open them to edit and save them again and they’ll go back.

i just wanted to make this separate post to add that once you do that all your new posts will go back to being visible at the top of your blog as they should be i just did it and now everything’s fine on my blog.

PLEASE TRY THIS AND REBLOG THIS TOO

This is what I did lads. If your homepage has been tumblr’d, this is how to un tumblr it. You gotta edit every single flagged/unflagged post though. The thing is that it won’t show you its been flagged/unflagged so lol

To make this easier

1) Go to your tumblr

2) Take note of the date of the first post on your 2nd page

3) Go back to the 1st page of your blog and basically edit every post that has a date that comes before the date in #2

4) Refresh your homepage, repeat

5) If u no longer have posts before the date in #2, you’re good

Inverted doki doki literature club where you think you’re playing a psychological horror game but it is slowly revealed to be an upbeat dating sim/visual novel

I thought I was playing silent hill but suddenly pyramid head asked me on a date.

Honestly nothing would make me happier than a big scary monster poping out from around a corner only to blush and offer me some of the snacks i mentioned liking in a previous level.

DIEing Thoughts: Impressions of Issue #1

twatd:

The first issue of DIE, the Image series that looks set to define where Kieron Gillen goes next after WicDiv, lands this Wednesday. Tim + Alex have read a review copy of the first issue, so we decided to talk it over and share the highlights with y’all.

We tried to ensure the discussion is pretty much spoiler-free. But obviously, if you want to go into the first issue knowing nothing, maybe bookmark this and come back on Wednesday.

Alex: So, what did
you make of it?

Tim: I enjoyed it
a lot. I don’t think it had quite the same immediate impact as the first issue
of WicDiv, but there’s a lot I’m excited about.

Alex: That is,
unsurprisingly, the first comparison I immediately reached for. Is it the first
creator-owned ongoing Gillen has launched since then?

Tim: I think so? Uber launched before WicDiv, and Mercury Heat was only 12 issues.

Alex: Anyway, for
me it definitely has that same feeling of, oh, okay, this is what Gillen is
interested in doing next
.

The Wicked + The Divine
#1 surprised both of us, I think, because it was so firmly plot-driven. After
years as dedicated Phonomancers, it was weird to see a Gillen + McKelvie pop-music comic that ended on a big cliffhanger.

The Wicked + The Divine #40: Before + After

Alex: With the run of familiar faces in issue #40, I had to go back to when we last met them all – in some cases, as early as issue #3.

The final one is a bit of a swing, based more on her dialogue (and current Blake-ass-looking partner) than anything else. But, to borrow a bit of internet parlance: huge if true.

Sometimes I get so fucking angry when I think about HIV and AIDS too long because the blow out in the US was in the 80s and 90s and I think about all the creative and intellectual people who lost their lives to it and have been continuously swept under the rug as if their humanity was just so contrite.

Our entire generation would be different had they all survived, and sometimes I think about that too long and get all mad tears. It stigmatized the entire queer community, and I feel like the community is still trying to recover and get a grip on a time when it was once socially acceptable to call something GRIDS (Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome) as if that made any fucking sense. Pure propaganda bullshit, seriously. Our president wouldn’t even openly acknowledge it. Actually fuck Reagan because it took approx 21,000 deaths in the US before he even said ‘AIDS.’

And HIV is still so disregarded by the media as if people aren’t falling victim to it like wildfire (a huge part of this is because of the shame and inability to believe everyone is capable of contracting it), and if you ever want a reason to hate, then take a class on the history of HIV and AIDS and take a Biology of HIV and AIDS course because you’ll never come out of it the same once you understand the sociopolitical nightmare surrounding it. You’ll be breathing fire about the injustice and not just sexual orientation discrimination but also the gender and racial discrimination that is still choking people to this day. I’m clearly so angry right now.

The shittiest part being there are new preventative medications going around that no one will fucking talk about, and I don’t know what we need to do to get people on board to make this shit cheap and accessible, but I feel like stapling eyelids open and sitting every shit hole broadcast company and pharmaceutical soul sucker in front of a slideshow of what exactly AIDS did to people before there were antiretrovirals (that still aren’t 100%) and how it is just being a decent human being to spread the information. If not for the basic safety of those currently alive, then at least as respect for every person who lost or is currently losing their life because trust me — I have no fucking delusions this ‘problem’ is almost ‘fixed’ because it’s seemingly subdued in the United States.

It is a problem. This is still a problem. Why isn’t anyone discussing how big of a problem this is?
