fjord talking like vandren is Such A Character Choice and GOD it breaks my heart… fjord who’s been trying to fit in his entire life, who finally finally finds a parental figure who didn’t care what he looked like, just that he was a good sailor… fjord practicing his captain’s accent in private and feelin’ a little silly at first but the shape of the words start to feel more comfortable in his mouth. and fjord afterwards, completely alone in the world, making the conscious choice to sound like one of the only person who ever actually cared about his wellbeing.
