i love how all of the foxes are amazed when neil gets andrew to do something
they’re in awe and like “how do you do it??” and neil just says that he asked, like sweetie.. that’s not helpful to them

he only agrees because he has a crush on you

even more than that, I think that what makes the difference is the fact that neil ASKS at all. and not only he asks, but he explains why he needs the thing, and is open to find a compromise where he offers something back to andrew (when has anyone ever done this to him).
andrew likes to say no to kevin out of spite, but kevin treats him like he knows what’s best for him more than andrew himself, and andrew should automatically follow his lead because of course. 
the others straight out deny that andrew can even be talked with. they start with prejudice, and it plays to andrew’s convenience that they leave him alone. 
but if andrew had to accept the bother, it would be from someone he’s interested in (check), and from someone who has the decency of treating him with respect (check).
