I think now is a good time for a post in the many ways Mollymauk was great and warmed my heart in episode 26

• the “gambling” game with Beau to allow them to share about themselves in a fun setting
• telling Beau he didn’t think she did the wrong thing in the story she shared
• noticing Caleb panicking over the thought of being designated leader and trying to calm him down
• defusing bickering and stressful situations despite being a scraped raw nerve himself
• hanging back when the met the firbolgs to make sure he didn’t accidentally scare the child
• trying to cheer up the traumatized kid with clumsy failed magic tricks
• gifting jewelry from his horns to the child 
• stopping Beau from downtalking herself on several occasions
• speaking up for “doing a good turn” and trying to save the captured firbolgs when Keg was against it 
• getting excited over how much more Nott cares about people and Beau is good at talking to people
• focusing on freeing the kidnapped prisoners as part of each and every one of his strategies at the end (you know it wasn’t just bc he thought they’d be useful)
