This blew my mind: Naruto and Sasuke are not supposed to represent the sun and the moon, but full moon (yang) and crescent moon (yin). It’s depicted as light instead of dark in Naruto’s palm bc yang is light by contrast to yin’s dark (or should I say, vice versa, bc it’d make more sense to represent the crescent moon as light going by real-life appearance). If you see the panels in the manga where Ashura & Indra are pictured against each other, they’re under night skies w/ their moons. (cont)
