I will excuse the shit out of Greed always and forever like he’s the poster child problematic fave. And 95% of this is because I’m still fucked up over the fact that this asshole literally died to save humanity and no one gave him the proper thanks.

Greed beats the shit out of Ed and kidnaps Al? I don’t even care he’s like one of at least thirteen people who beat the shit out of Ed that’s not new. Greed seems pretty casual watching his friends die? Well fuck you he attacks Bradley in a fit of rage-induced tears when he remembers what happened. Kills Bido? Works for Father? Attempts to take over the world? Greed managed to unfuck ALMOST all of those at like some point or another.

Like I am such wild amounts of messed up over it. Greed only ever wanted FRIENDS. This garbage can’s goal in life was literally to have at least a few people who LIKE HIM. He talks about taking over the world except Ling calls him out on it constantly just, “You’re fooling yourself Greed you are just lonely and mostly sad.”

So what does he do when he realizes Ling is right? He lets himself die. So that Ling can live, so Father can be KILLED. “It’s enough… Yeah, it’s been enough.”

So yeah, Greed beats up Ed a few times and is an asshole to Ling on occasion. I 400% don’t care because Greed died FUCKING UNSUNG.
