In FMA human transmutation is forbidden but would the Truth fuck you up if you tried to bring back your dead cat

I just had a relook at the episode when Father activates the Nationwide Transmutation Circle, it appears animals were also absorbed into his Philosopher’s Stone as birds and dogs can be seen lying on the ground too. Also while Xerxes appears to be an arid country during it’s existence, during the series it appears to have been completely reduced to a desert wasteland, which would imply that after the inhabitants of Xerxes were transmuted that the area suffered complete ecological collapse.

So if animals have souls that can be used in a stone, that would imply the same rebound would occur when attempting to resurrect an animal just as would happen with a human.
