Hey just throwing this out there…..but Rose Lalonde is so much for than some pseudo-intellectual snarky broad, she is the chaotic neutral who does what she fucking wants, literally destroying one of the seven gates, daring to question lovecraftian horrors and resolved herself to a suicide mission TWICE (what else can you say going after jack is)
Rose Lalonde is a hurricane, Rose Lalonde does not simply settle for what she is given, she is action, she is rash decisions and raw emotion and self satisfaction and I will always love her for it.
With that point made I want you all to know that it is a hundred and ten precent canon that Rose Lalonde, proffessional 15 year old disgruntled teen, shoplifts from the Hot Topic only to have her earnings confiscated by Dave Strider who then tries to return the items only to be accused of shoplifting by employees.

Been feeling a bit art blocked, so I drew one of the Troll Call guys to try and fix it. I’m hoping the little red accents on his outfit are an indicator that he’s a Signless supporter, I think that’d be cool!
You know, I think those articles comparing Homestuck to works of classic literature may be closer to the mark than many folks realise. I mean, let’s go down the list:
Takes forever to get going
Way too many viewpoint characters, many of whom are only introduced two-thirds of the way through the text
Careens wildly between narrative and epistolary formats
Long, stylistically affected dialogues, especially in situations where you wouldn’t think there’d be time to stop and chat
Repeated digressions about peripherally relevant worldbuilding details, often focusing on characters who play little or no role in the actual plot
Sentimental preoccupation with a very specific era of popular culture
Strongly opinionated narrator who appears to have some sort of romantic obsession with one of the female leads
Kills off half its speaking cast
Published piecemeal, alternating large bursts of content with lengthy hiatuses
The author isn’t getting paid by the word, but it feels like he should be
