biwitchofthewest:

I mean, we all rave about how most of the critical role cast manages to stay in character (specially Liam) but a lot of people never talk about how fucking great Marisha Ray is when she roleplays. Like, it is specially evident to me right now with campaign 2 because she embodies her character, with Keyleth she used to sit on the chair, hunch down and make herself seem as small as possible (and that changes as the campaign progresses because Keyleth gets more confident)

But now with Beau, she never sits straight (hehe), she puts her feet on the seat, drinks more than she used to from her cup, moves her arms a lot when she speaks, hell, there is a moment when Caleb’s story is about to be revealed and Marisha breaks character to say “Beau is being genuine” and HER FREAKING VOICE CHANGES.

I just love Marisha Ray so much and you all better appreciate her more because she deserves it.

For anybody that doesn’t watch Talks Machina, Caleb’s timeline best to Liam’s memory
